Ada Programming Language @ Wikipedia
Ada is a structured, statically typed, imperative, computer programming language designed by a team led by Jean Ichbiah of CII Honeywell Bull under contract to the United States Department of Defense during 1977 1983 to supersede the hundreds of programming languages then used by the DOD. Ada is also classified as a high-level language. Ada addresses some of the same tasks as C or C++, but Ada is strongly-typed (even for integer-range), and...

Extending Ada to Assist Multiprocessor Embedded Development
The Ada language supports high level techniques for inter-processor communication and also supports low level implementation of data address manipulation. The language however requires the software developers to manage the low-level manipulations. This paper proposes a technique to incorporate the high level concepts with low level implementation for multiprocessor communications.

Extending Ada's Real-Time Systems Annex with the POSIX Scheduling Services
In this paper we propose extending the scheduling model of the Ada 95 Real-Time Systems Annex with the services specified in the Real-Time POSIX standard. These services include a round robin within priorities scheduling policy, a sporadic server scheduling policy, and execution time clocks and timers.

Virtualization: Use Cases
The SCOPE Alliance Virtualization Working Group aims to provide a set of hardware and software requirements that describe functional and non-functional aspects of virtualization features required by the NEPs. The initial focus of the Virtualization Working Group is on the core networking problem area, with emphasis on the control and data planes. The Virtualization Working Group might consider other telecommunications areas in the future....

Express Logic - RTOS, TCP/IP, USB Stack, File System, GUI

NetX® and NetX Duo are Express Logic's high-performance implementation of IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP protocol standards. Both are fully integrated with the ThreadX® RTOS (real-time operating system) and are available for all supported processors. NetX and NetX Duo have a unique Piconet™ architecture. Combined with a zero-copy API, it makes them a perfect fit for today's deeply embedded applications that require network connectivity.
