You've measured the jitter, now how do you fix it?
While making accurate measurements is important, you need to identify the root causes of jitter problems before you can minimize them.
Keys to success include understanding how to best use your jitter analysis tool, plus how jitter propagates in a communications system.

Free software tools for embedded systems
GCC, assemblers, and simlators mainly for older 8-bit processors.
Though many of these programs are Open Source, links have been given (where possible) to pre-compiled, ready-to-run binaries.
Many DOS programs can run inside a Microsoft Windows DOS box, under FreeDOS, or under Linux DOSEMU.
Too many developers confuse DOS with the Win32 console, so I can't be sure whether some tools are true DOS programs or actually Win32 console...

Designing Power Efficient Embedded Systems
The Designing Power Efficient Embedded Systems seminar presents system design techniques to increase the power efficiency and maximize the battery life of a mixed-signal embedded system.
Also, the new CapTouchSense technology incorporated in the C8051F93x is discussed during the training.
The ToolStick development platform is used to demonstrate low power techniques, single battery operation and implementation of CapTouchSense switches.
