How To Implement More Than 64k in 8051
It is totaly possible to implement as many code memory you want in the 8051, using some available port pins, or implementing a 74HCT573 8 bits latch (for a max of 16MB) or a 74HCT75 4 bits latch (for a max of 1MB eprom).

The 8051 IP Core was developed in cooperation with the Arbeitsgruppe CAD / TU-Wien. This processor core is binary compatible to the well known 8051 processor from Intel. Our 8051 IP core is available as a synthetizeable circuit description (VHDL).
