FFT Spectrum Analyser (arbitrary waveform function)
This JAVA applet, which works together with JavaScript, allows you to view the FFT spectrum of a specified input signal. Although it limits the input signal to be described by a combination of mathematical expressions of a few waveforms, you can still have fun seeing the output of the FFT.

FFTW is a C subroutine library, available for FREE, for computing the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) in one or more dimensions, of both real and complex data, and of arbitrary input size. The web site includes download information, documentation, upgrade information, and related links. Further, the authors provide benchmark results of their routines.

ScopeDSP can generate, read, write, window, and plot sampled-data signals. Its Arbitrary-N FFT algorithm performs Time-Frequency conversion. Many statistics in Time and Frequency can be calculated. ScopeDSP is shareware. You may use its Trial Edition free for 60 days, but you must Register the Professional or Student Edition with Iowegian International Corporation to use it beyond the Trial period.
